Bills & Recurring Spending
Bills (even an elephant forgets sometimes)
At it's simplest bills are just a list of things you have to pay regularly. For example you could create a bill to remind yourself that your gym membership is due on the 12th of each month and that it's $32. At the start of your new budget you can check your list of bills to see what's coming due so and you can even add the bill to your budget with a single click.
Recurring Spending
But that's not all bills in Muffin App can do! If we tell Muffin App that this is a recurring bill, Muffin App will automagically add this spending to your budget every month! You can setup as many bills as you like (hopefully you don't have too many!) and this way you can be greeted every month with most of your budgeting done for you!
Muffin App ♥ Email
Muffin App allows you to add spending by simply sending an email
Send an email to your unique address with your amount in the subject line (just numbers, no currency symbols).
You can also add a description by adding a tag in the body.
For example: Groceries
Muffin App can also send you "on hand summaries"
1) Send an email to your unique address with "Summary" in the subject line.
2) Muffin App then replies with your how much you have now, and after everything has been paid.
Spending Reports
Muffin App comes with some easy to use, useful reports:
- Your miscellaneous (unplanned) spending vs. your planned spending
- See all miscellaneous (unplanned) spending over a given time period
- See all your spending with a given keyword
- See all your spending with a given amount
- See everything (all your spending, all your income) over a given time period
And since Muffin App is online, with no software to download or install, when new types of reports are designed you'll automatically have access to them!
iPhone Version
And for you iPhone users among us...
Muffin App comes with a specially tailored iPhone interface* to make using Muffin App while on the go that little bit easier. (*In addition to the regular, full featured interface.)
